Many people have been asking me recently “Are you still couponing?”, “How are you able to save money with what’s going on?”. Well, I’m not going to the stores to shop BUT I am saving money.
Here’s how you can save, too…
Cash-Back Websites
For anything, retail-related, always use a cash-back website. For those unfamiliar, cash-back websites pay you a percentage of what you spend with a certain retailer. They actually get paid by the retailer for providing the sale lead and they essentially share a portion of that with you. The cash-back website I personally use is Rakuten (Formerly Ebates). They are even offering a $10 new sign up bonus. Check it out.
Digital Coupons and Rebates
Most supermarkets offer a drive-up service where you place an order online and your order is put into your trunk upon your arrival. What some people don’t realize is that you can use digital coupons at most supermarkets that offer this.
I personally shop at ShopRite. Their digital coupons can be found here.
If you shop at a different store, you can find the digital coupons page for your store with a simple Google search of “store name” + digital coupons.
Another way you can save is SavingStar.
SavingStar is a digital rebate site. I love this because there are no annoying receipt submissions. It simply links to you store loyalty card and pays you automatically after you shop or place a pick-up order for select stores. All you have to do is press a couple buttons to select what you want.
As far as remembering to do this, I recommend setting a reminder on your phone to remind you every Sunday to select both your digital coupons and SavingStar picks. It should only take you about 5 minutes.
Promo Codes
When shopping online, always do a quick search for promo codes ahead of time.
For groceries and food delivery, lots of shopping services offer periodic promotions, escppeciallyy for new user.

- GrubHub -Promos sent through direct mail
- InstaCart – Promos randomly e-mailed to accounts
- Shipt (Owned by Target but does delivery for multiple stores)
- Fresh Direct -Promos sent through direct mail
Getting Necessities
Paper towels: When paper towels became hard to find, I actually started buying the institutional kind and I find that I refer them.
Toilet paper: Rumor has it that Target Drive Up is always stocked for toilet paper, especially if you go in the morning.
